Biography

Travis is the consultant to the College of Engineering where he works with students, faculty and employers in chemical & biomolecular, civil & environmental engineering, electrical engineering, computer and computer science engineering, industrial & systems engineering, materials science & engineering, mechanical & aerospace engineering, nuclear engineering and reliability and maintainability engineering.  In his role, Travis counsels students on career options, job and internship search strategies, graduate school planning, and transitioning to life after UTK.  He also teaches EF 301, a unique course specifically geared towards engineering career planning and placement.  With his position in the Center for Career Development, Travis is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Southern Association of College and Employers (SoACE), and the Tennessee Association of Colleges and Employers (TACE).
