Career Services offers Alumni the same services that currently enrolled students receive. As Alumni, you can request appointments, participate in on-campus recruiting, attend job fairs and utilize our physical as well as online resources! Please check out our online resources that are conveniently linked for you to the left.

Career Services has recently expanded services offered to Alumni by adding HIRE-A-VOL Alumni to the current offerings. Alumni currently have two choices for assistance with job searching. The traditional HIRE-A-VOL system is available to you but is primarily suited for those VOLS with under a year of work experience. The HIRE-A-VOL system is used to run our on-campus recruiting program so positions will be most appropriate for entry-level type hires.

Alumni with more experience will be interested in the HIRE-A-VOL Alumni system that is new for 2008! We have partnered with Employon to offer UT Alumni a state-of-the-art job search tool that creates real-time search and match technology services for the human capital management marketplace. The company has developed and is deploying search services by successfully delivering world class capabilities across three areas: job content aggregation, concept based search technology and highly scalable technology components. What this means is that Alumni no longer have to wait for positions to be phoned or emailed in to Career Services. HIRE-A-VOL Alumni uses sophisticated web crawling technology to search and find the positions for you! Click on the logo below to access HIRE-A-VOL/Alumni now.

Share your Career Knowledge

If your career path might interest students pursuing your undergraduate major, here's a way to share your information. We are looking for people who can answer yes to the following questions:
  • Did you receive an undergraduate degree from UT?
  • Are you enthusiastic about your career?
  • Do you think your career path (whether two years or 62) can provide helpful information to students?
  • Do you have advice to offer?
