  • Teach For America
    The national teacher corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors and cultural backgrounds who commit two years to teach in under-resourced urban and rural public schools.
  • The New Teacher Project
    A national nonprofit dedicated to closing the achievement gap by ensuring that high-need students get outstanding teachers. TNTP's alternate routes to certification are highly selective programs designed to recruit and train high-achieving individuals who do not have education backgrounds to teach in public school systems.
  • CoaHCORPS
    Based in Massachusetts, City on a Hill Corps (CoaHCORPS) is a paid year of service program for college graduates interested in teaching and helping inner-city students thrive in their education.
  • MATCH Corps
    Intensive, one-on-one tutoring program designed to fully close the Achievement Gap between minority and non-minority students, and between economically disadvantaged students and their more advantaged peers. Offers Teacher Residency program to pursue full-time teaching in public schools.
  • Service Corps Programs
    Service Corps or Term of Service programs recruit recent graduates to serve for one to two years in organizations combating various social justice issues such as poverty and homelessness, education and achievement gaps and environmental conservation. Most programs are paid and offer benefits.
