Sarah Helm
Sarah Helm has been with Career Services since 2005. She earned her B.S. from Illinois State University and her M.S. from Bowling Green State University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling at UT. Within Career Services, Sarah serves as the Coordinator of the Disability-Careers Office (DCO), which is a liaison position between Career Services and Disability Services. The DCO provides assistance to all students with a documented disability as evidenced by their registration with the UT Office of Disability Services and/or with Tennessee Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Services provided through the DCO include, but are not limited to: major exploration; career counseling; self-disclosure skill development; interview techniques and preparation; and information regarding rights, responsibilities, and options for reasonable accommodation in the workplace. Sarah also serves as the Co-Chair for the University’s annual Diversity Job Fair.
