Present Job Title:
Intern Architect

Brief description of my job responsibilities, e.g. a typical week in my job:
I am an intern architect learning how to put a full set of Construction documents together.  I also am in meet with a client and construction staff regularly for construction administration.

Suggestions I would give to undergraduate students with regard to courses, internships, and other means of preparation for my career field:
I would get as much experience as possible.  Be sure you understand what the real world of architecture really is.  I also suggest in finding a job, research each firm thoroughly to understand what they do and learn the atmosphere of each firm.

My career path in getting to this position:
I wanted to finish school with a good GPA, learn as much as I could in school. Understand as much as possible before I left school and work hard once I have gotten a job.

Other advice for students interested in gaining entry into and pursuing a career in this field:
Be sure you want to be an architect.
