After practicing dentistry for 23 years prior to
my present occupation, my suggetion is to carefully scrutinize your choice. Research and discuss your plans with people in
your chosen profession to assure yourself of the choice. Retirement can be a long way off, especially if you are unhappy!
My career path in getting to this position:
I was chosen for my position through a an extensive interview process
over a six month period. The requirements included both a degree in dentistry and a history of community and business
involvement.
Other advice for students interested in gaining entry into and pursuing a career
in this field:
I hopeyou can find a situation like mine. After 23 years it iswonderful to have found my calling.
There are numerous jobs in the insurance field that offer a diverse amount of opportunities.
