Brief description of my job responsibilities, e.g. a typical week in my job:
Oversee personel and operations in a fast paced JIT (Just in Time) 3rd Partly Logistics provider dedicated to transporting GM parts and material to GM plants in the US, Mexico and Canada.

Suggestions I would give to undergraduate students with regard to courses, internships, and other means of preparation for my career field:
In today's corporate environment any one of you can succeed if you will forget "I want".  That will come with your success when you work longer, harder and better than your peers and move up the ladder.  Give yourself to the team.

My career path in getting to this position:
Always being present.  If your there to offer your ideas and thoughts your part of the process.  Be there before your scheduled, stay after your able to go and see what the "other guy does".  You'll know your work and theirs too!

Other advice for students interested in gaining entry into and pursuing a career in this field:
Read above.....be there, always be hanging around learning and listening.
