The Public Service Careers Program
Public Service can be defined as service in the interest of others, and encompasses all three sectors: government, nonprofit, and business, depending on one's particular role. The University of Tennessee Career Services Office's Public Service Career Program promotes the concept that public service is a socially responsible activity, as well as an attitude. The program is designed to help undergraduate, graduate, and law students investigate a wide range of career options in the public and nonprofits sectors, as well as in socially responsible business.
