The Assesment Test
All nominees are invited to one of the Assessment Test sites during the month of January/February, 2008. On the USAJOBS application you will be able to select from a list of dates and locations so that you could take the test at location near your home. YOU MAY NOT WANT TO SELECT THE WASHINGTON, DC TEST SITE. It’s always a very hectic. The assessment test will be a half-day activity. The test is objective and is similar to the LSAT. The test is supposed to assess your skills in three areas:
- Analytical Problem Solving
- OPM Leadership Competencies (teamwork, managing change, resilience, political savvy, integrity, etc.)
- Knowledge Required for Effecitve Written Expression
Once nominated PMFP will inform you about 2-3 weeks later. You will receive information via email regarding your Assessment Center, the date, and time. You may change this if needed using information provided at that time. You will also be receiving a “What to Expect” and sample questions packet.
