A Note for Non-U.S. Citizens
Opportunities for Federal employment for non-United States citizens through the Presidential Management Fellowship Program are extremely limited but not impossible. Law prohibits Federal agencies from hiring anyone who is not a United States citizen for positions in the continental United States. There are certain exemptions to this restriction. Non-United States citizens interested in applying for the PMF Program should contact the Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding their eligibility to live and work in the United States. The one-year Optional Practical Training is not sufficient to qualify you for this program.
