Fall Job Fair 2008 Tuesday, September 16, 2008 Thompson-Boling Arena 10:00am - 3:00pm

For all students--ANY MAJOR--this is the event for you!!

The Fall Job Fair is a chance for you to meet informally with representatives from many different companies to talk about a wide range of topics. You can ask about entry-level jobs, location of jobs, where you might fit, career advancement paths, etc. It may be the BEST opportunity you ever have to learn about the job market in your areas of interest.

The Fall Job Fair is particularly valuable for juniors and sophomores because it gives you the opportunity to learn how you can get the education and experience that will make you most employable in the future.  Be sure to check the Employer Participant List every week to see which companies are recruiting your major and the types of positions they offer (full-time, internship, etc.).

Also, watch for the insert that will appear in the Monday, September 17th edition of the Daily Beacon for career information and additional info on the companies that will be attending. This will help you target employers to speak with on the day of the event. Professional attire is recommended, AND remember to bring copies of your resume!
