Part-Time Employment

Student Employment, also known as Job Location & Development (JLD) is a federally funded service. The mission of JLD is to assist students in finding jobs and to promote self-help in educational financing, as well as to encourage a sense of personal achievement and the development of positive values. Part-time jobs are on and off campus. During the 2015-2016 academic year, 692 UT students participated in the JLD program.

    • Start building your resume early. Learning how to create a professional resume now will save you time and effort later. When the time comes that a resume is requested by an employer, you should have a current resume ready.
