Services Utilized at the Center for Career Development: Resume Critiques, BA 320, Career Planning with Mrs. Berge and Russ, Resume Writing Guide, Cover Letter Writing Guide, Dinner Etiquette Guide, Career and Internship Fairs, and Mrs. Berge’s office hours
Success Story: First, they coached me on my resume and interviewing skills through BA 320, through the resume mailbox, and through walk-in one on one sessions. This allowed me to be more competitive in the job market by landing an internship during my junior year. Secondly, with the guidance and encouragement of the Center for Career Development, I was able to secure multiple job offers in a tough and competitive job market one semester from graduation. Once I had the offers in hand, I was able to sit down with two people from the Center for Career Development, Mr. Russ Coughenhour and Mrs. Jeannine Berge, and interpret the offers I had. Armed with the knowledge from the Center for Career Development, I was able to negotiate an offer that I was comfortable with and that was above average for my industry. During my last semester of college, I had an amazing time because I didn’t have to stress over finding a job.
Would you recommend the Center for Career Development to a peer?:
