Amanda Yother is a career coach serving scholars in the STEM and pre-health fields. Her work with scholars includes advising on topics related to career development, including guidance on cover letters and resumes, internships, job searching, networking, graduate school options and planning, and mock interviewing. Amanda is passionate about connecting scholars with the resources needed to succeed in their career goals.
Amanda received her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University’s College of Education and a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee’s School of Information Sciences. Before joining the team at the Center for Career Development and Exploration, Amanda worked in teacher preparation administration and public, school, and state libraries. Amanda enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the city of Knoxville.
