Biography

CliftonStrengths: Input, Intellection, Relator, Learner, Individualization 

Betsy is a Graduate Teaching Assistant who works with exploratory first-year and sophomore scholars who are choosing their majors and careers in individual and group settings. Within this role, she teaches the Exploring Majors and Careers course and engages with scholars in individual appointments to facilitate a time to investigate academic and career options. Betsy loves being able to join scholars in navigating their individual interests and goals for future careers.  Betsy is also pursuing her PhD within the Counselor Education and Supervision program at UT.

 

Before coming to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Betsy had the opportunity to work within community mental health as a therapist as well as within Student Life as a Residence Director. Betsy is growth oriented and passionate about empowering others to know themselves well and pursue their goals.

Betsy enjoys hiking, reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends over a cup of coffee.
