Chris Shuping is a Career Counselor who primarily works with exploratory freshman and sophomore students who are choosing their majors and careers in individual and group settings. He also develops experiential learning opportunities for students. He teaches First Year Studies each Fall. Prior to assuming this role, he was an Academic Advisor for the College of Arts and Sciences working with Exploratory students, Pre-Health students, and students in declared majors. Chris is a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and the Chancellor’s Commission for LGBT People.
