Academic & Career Exploration Coach
Chris Shuping is an academic and career exploration coach who primarily works with exploratory first-year and sophomore students who are choosing their majors and careers in individual and group settings. He also develops experiential learning opportunities for students. He teaches first-year studies each fall. Prior to assuming this role, he was an academic advisor for the College of Arts and Sciences working with exploratory students, pre-health students, and students in declared majors. Chris is a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and the Chancellor’s Commission for LGBT People.
