Disability, Veteran, & Inclusion Initiatives Coach
Biography
Cierra Bussard is the Disability, Veteran, and Inclusion Initiatives Career Coach and an Academic and Career Exploration Coach. She primary works with diverse students and exploratory students who are choosing their majors and careers. She focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as it relates to career development. In her role, she can assist students with disability disclosure, finding reasonable accommodations, creating a civilian-friendly resume, connecting to inclusive employers, and self-advocacy. She coordinates DEI programs including: Veteran Networking Night, Disability in the Workplace, Professionals of Color, Take Pride in Your Resume, and more. She also teaches the COUN 205 Course: Exploring Majors and Careers. Cierra enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing soccer!
