Lead Academic & Career Exploration Coach
Biography
Erin Bennett is an academic and career exploration coach who primarily works with exploratory first-year and sophomore students who are choosing their majors and careers in individual and group settings. She coordinates and teaches the exploring majors career class and is a first-year studies instructor. She serves as the co-lead to the CliftonStrengths Facilitation Team in partnership with staff from the Center for Leadership & Service.
Erin is a member of the National Career Development Association and is currently past-president to the Tennessee Career Development Association. In addition, she is a national certified counselor (NCC) and gained her Ed.S/M.S degree in Counseling and Human Services with a focus in career counseling from Florida State University. There she also received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications/public relations.
Erin is passionate about her role in helping young college students develop and learn how to reach their career goals. She enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and running triathlons. She also enjoys attending theatrical musicals and everything about living in Knoxville and being a Volunteer!
