Graduate Teaching Assistant

Bobby Lange serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration office. In this role, he teaches the Exploring Majors and Careers course as well as engages in individual appointments with scholars to work on academic and career exploration. Bobby is also serving as a PhD student in the Counselor Education program.
Before coming to the University of Tennessee, Bobby worked in a variety of educational settings ranging from students in Pre-K to university level students. He has worked with summer programs, after school programs, K-12 schools, residence life programs, student clubs & organizations, learning assistance centers, and in a research role. Because of his experiences as a First-Generation student and his untraditional path through school, he finds meaning and purpose in helping scholars navigate the challenges of being at a university and identifying resources that might best serve them on their unique journeys.
